Nightly we are bombarded by the media regarding the current state of the housing market. Keep in mind a national weather forecast is not the same as a local forecast and this holds true for the real estate market.

The first few months of 2008 have shown thus far that about one third of the sales that are occurring in the Northern Colorado marketplace are distressed, meaning they have already gone through the foreclosure process or are have negotiated a short sale with the lender. While this news can be disconcerting for Sellers, we have obtained excellent deals for our buyers.
